We are seeking a Senior Market Research & Competitive Intelligence Analyst (Amazon DE) to lead data-driven decision-making for our Amazon Germany business. You will be responsible for understanding category dynamics, competitive landscape, demand trends, pricing strategies, and consumer behavior to support marketplace growth.
This role sits at the intersection of analytics, strategy, and Germany-specific marketplace intelligence. You’ll build systems that monitor the market, surface opportunities, and enable our team to execute with precision.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct detailed Amazon DE market & category research (TAM, trends, seasonality)
Benchmark competitor catalog, pricing, promotions, spend, and share of voice
Map keyword demand and monitor ranking / visibility shifts
Analyze reviews & sentiment to guide positioning & content direction
Build dashboards, reports, and frameworks for continuous intelligence
Identify white-space product opportunities and category entry points
Support launch strategy and localization insight for Amazon DE
Translate insights into business recommendations for channel leadership

You bring a deep understanding of Amazon Germany, the surrounding regulatory and cultural context, and consumer behavior across German-speaking markets.
Background
5+ years in Amazon DE market intelligence, pricing analysis, or marketplace strategy
Hands-on experience with tools like Helium10, DataDive, Keepa, Brand Analytics
Strong research professionalism — able to validate assumptions with data
Familiarity with Germany-specific ecommerce compliance and standards (e.g., packaging laws, WEEE, CE where applicable)
Proven ability to turn fragmented marketplace signals into strategic clarity

Must-Have
Fluency in German & English
Amazon DE research experience (not just US, UK or another EU marketplace)
Strong analytical capability & structured problem-solving
Advanced Excel/Sheets + ability to build clear reporting dashboards
Mastery of Amazon intelligence tools (Helium10, DataDive, JS, Keepa, ABA)
Ability to evaluate category demand, pricing, and competitive position
Preferred
Marketplace experience supporting DACH brands or launches
Exposure to DSP/AMC data and advertising signals
Experience in D2C category analysis or retail analytics
Understanding of pricing elasticity, ranking economics, and TACoS dynamics
